Dean of Health Sciences

Full-time, Executive/Managerial position, eligible for fringe benefits. Responsible for providing leadership and overseeing all functions of Nursing and Health Sciences programs, at the Main Campus and other College locations where such programs may be offered. The Dean of Health Sciences will report to the Vice President of Instructional Services. The salary range $70,000-$80,000 and is determined by the candidate’s qualifications and commensurate with responsibilities of position.

Qualification for this position include a Master’s degree in Nursing, along with a current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.  A minimum of two years clinical experience in health care and health care leadership/management experience. Experience with accreditation standards compliance of healthcare education programs or clinical health care settings.  Knowledge of curriculum design to include technology and alternative methods of delivery. The successful candidate will also display excellent communication, organization, planning, and presentation skills, a commitment to student learning.
