Biology: Manager of Bioscience Inventories to perform business manager functions for the Department of Biology. The role performs daily operational and financial functions of the department including purchasing and accounting transactions.  

Duties include and are not limited to: Performing a large volume of purchasing and accounting transactions related to departmental, college, and external grant accounts; maintaining databases and spreadsheets to monitor purchasing activity; reconciling accounting reports; supervising the biology storeroom; serving as liaison with business units on campus; supervising a senior program associate.

Required: Bachelor’s degree and three years of appropriate experience in purchasing and accounting, or the equivalent combined amount of education and experience. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience in higher education purchasing and accounting systems, database management, and supervision of employees.
