Supervise the daily operations of the Stadium Concessions/Merchandise department, including the supervision of full-time, temporary, not for profit organizations and student staff, with emphasis placed on the Concessions Vending Program and concessions events held at Manley Field House, Coyne Field, Coyne Soccer Stadium, Skytop Softball Stadium, Quad, et al.

Qualifications

Two years college level education and two years’ experience in Concessions and one year in Catering event experience.

Job Specific Qualifications

ServSafe certification required and provided upon hire

NYS Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate and supervise student and temporary staff for campus events and the vending operation in the stadium with sales of up to 130K per event.

Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate and supervise 60+ stadium vendors and cashiers at up to 5 locations in the Carrier Dome and events outside the Dome.

Responsible for cash control at all campus events. Determine product needs and maintain product levels at all campus events outside the stadium.

Supervise 2 bargaining unit Grade 5 Event Helpers. Prepare and stock 30 concession stands for events and maintain cleanliness and upkeep under the direction of current Concessions Manager. Maintain equipment in 30 stands in the stadium, 2 trailers and 3 satellite concession locations.

Assist Concessions Manager in daily concessions operations and events in the Carrier Dome. Supervise up to 50 stand supervisors, 500 staff (temporary, student and not for profit organizations) in the stadium with sales of up to 250K per event. Ensure that health department procedures are followed closely.
