Assistant Coach, Women's Golf

The Assistant Coach, Women ’s Golf will support the Head Coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I intercollegiate men’s golf program.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist the Head Coach with recruiting, scouting, coaching, coordinating team travel, program administration, fundraising and the administration of the team budget.
• Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public.
• Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Southern Conference, and University rules and regulations as well
• Dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; a minimum of three (3) years of NCAA collegiate playing experience in golf or golf teaching experience is required; extensive knowledge of the game of golf is required along with excellent communication and organizational skills; and experience with Trackman is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to travel both domestically and abroad and possess a valid Driver’s license.
