Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques and a strong willingness to learn to join the Canon Stroke and Vascular Research Center team at UB.

In our lab, staff and faculty work closely with physicians to focus on improving imaging, treatment, and detection of vascular diseases such as stroke and brain aneurysms by conducting translational studies, often in collaboration with industry partners. We’re looking for someone who ideally comes with benchtop lab experience and previous involvement with large and small animal models of disease.

The successful applicant is expected to support ongoing research studies on the bench, assist with lab maintenance duties, as well as support in vivo studies in a strongly collaborative environment. We are willing to train the right detail-oriented applicant who is dedicated to helping achieve our research goals. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.

Microsoft Office proficiency and excellent communication skills.
