About the Opportunity:
To assist the Head Coach in maintaining a highly competitive and NCAA compliant Division I men's basketball program, which includes: contributing to the recruitment process of prospective student-athletes, practice planning and execution, in-game coaching, self and opponent scouting and player development. In addition, fulfill all media requirements to promote the men's basketball program and Northeastern University. Finally, the Assistant Coach will serve as a liaison between the men's basketball program and all university support staff to ensure academic and fiscal integrity and competitive excellence.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have prior Division I basketball experience, demonstrate knowledge and respect for the NCAA rules and procedures. The candidate must share the standards and values upheld by the University and the men's basketball program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as prior experience in a leadership role are recommended. Must have a schedule that will meet the demands of the program in and out of a season. Bachelor's degree required. Travel is required. Master's degree preferred.
