Position Summary:

This position will be in the Department of Radiology, MRI Research Program at UW - Madison School of Medicine and Public Health located in the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR). Responsibilities include performing daily research and clinical MRI scans; managing data for MRI research projects; educating, training and supervising researchers on the operations of the MRI scanners and techniques; preparing daily billing invoices for MRI research; and participating in ACR accreditation procedures.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree preferred with science specialization, but will consider candidates without degree who are otherwise qualified or that have completed an accredited medical program in Radiology Technology.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a technologist required, MRI experience preferred.

A minimum of seven years' experience required for appointment at the senior level.

A criminal and/or caregiver background check will be conducted.

License or Certificate:

Registered Radiologic Technologist and Wisconsin Radiographer License required.

Additional Information:

This position may require early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekend availability.
