Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

About the Opportunity:
The World Languages Center in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University seeks applications for a Visiting Lecturer or open-rank Teaching Professor in French.

This position will support the University's commitment to innovation in teaching as well as the World Languages Center's vision of developing students' intercultural communicative competence. A Master's degree is required, a Ph.D. in applied linguistics, second language acquisition, pedagogy, or a related field is preferred. The successful applicant should be well prepared to teach French as a foreign language to students from diverse backgrounds, have experience teaching French in remote and/or online formats, and possess native or near native proficiency in French.
