Head Wrestling Coach/Assistant Professor
Salary and Terms: Athletic fixed-term, full-time position. Salary placement is based on qualifications.

Position Description: The Head Wrestling Coach will be responsible for the administration of all phases of an NCSS Division II wrestling program including: recruitment of quality student athletes, organize and train student athletes for successful competition, and monitoring and supporting the academic success of the team. Other duties include: pan and conduct pre and post-season workouts, prepare and manage budget, fundraising activities and records, and develop alumni relations. Athletic administrative duties may include game management and special events. Head coaching/athletic administrative duties will be 75% of the assignment. The position will including teaching assignment of six credits (25%) that reflect the candidate’s degree, prior teaching experience, and/or area of expertise.
- Master’s degree.
- Two years wrestling coach experience at the collegiate or high school level.
- Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment and demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds are required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships through the recruitment process and student-athlete experience.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective human relation skills.
- Upper Midwest collegiate recruiting experience.
- Fundraising, camp programming, specials events, and game management experience.
- Prior teaching experience.
