Under the direction of the Executive Vice President, Student Success supports the mission, goals, and vision of MATC by providing leadership for enrollment management. Provide innovative and effective leadership to develop and manage initiatives that focus on student success, enrollment management strategies and programs to increase retention, completion, and academic success for all students through the District.
 
Provides strategic leadership for the offices of admissions, financial aid, recruitment and placement, registration and records, special services, testing, and agency services. 
 
Lead the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of comprehensive data-driven, research-based plans designed to attract and support MATC students through completion. Ensures the appropriate and effective use of technology and artificial intelligence to supplement systems and processes. Leads MATC-wide initiatives focusing on evaluating and improving enrollment management, training, workshops and other educational experiences as needed including admissions, tuition classification, registrars and student records as well as financial aid and student accounts. Works with enrollment management teams to coordinate training and other educational experiences as needed for campus enrollment specialists with the goal of improving campus enrollment.
 
Provides ongoing support of academic and student affairs initiatives as well as support major system initiatives and other initiatives designed to improve efficiency, affordability and improve retention and graduation rates. Supports the design of Board and system-level policies and procedures and oversee implementation of these policies and procedures within the context of MATC information systems. This position will serve as primary liaison to teams of functional and technology users and campus constituents responsible for activities associated with supporting student-focused services and applications. Applies data-informed decision making (DIDM) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) in planning and implementing strategies to achieve division and department goals. Serves as a change agent for diversity, equity, inclusion, and multiculturalism as well as innovation, collaboration, legal compliance, and data analysis. Uses appropriate and effective use of technology and data to supplement systems and processes. In addition, the position will ensure that goals and objectives of these services are accomplished within prescribed time parameters, within budget, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and meeting service goals and customer expectations.
