Norwich University's online Master of Science in Nursing Program is seeking applications for two specialty track coordinators for new programs in Acute Care Gerontology and Psychiatric Mental Health.

 Essential responsibilities include the following:

  • Conduct the day-to-day operations of the specialty Nurse Practitioner track
  • Supervise specialty track faculty and students
  • Recruit and supervise adjunct faculty
  • Teach four courses per year
  • Provide specialty track-level leadership for curriculum planning
  • Develop and manage faculty and student processes
  • Identify course outcomes and evaluation metrics for assessments
  • Recommend specialty track course developers
  • Oversee clinical practice experiences
  • Collaborate with the CGCS program leadership team for seamless integration with the graduate programs
  • Collaborate with the MS in Nursing-Program Coordinators in student recruitment and marketing efforts with Norwich staff and external vendors.
  • Review marketing materials
  • Evaluate the specialty tracks and student outcomes
  • Ensure curriculum is current, relevant and aligned with competencies and accreditation standards
  • Monitor and report on accreditation standards
  • Support the accreditation process for the MS in Nursing program
  • Participate in budget development as needed
  • Establish academic and clinical partnerships
  • Develop and participate in academic events for the summer residency conference.
  • Support School of Nursing and CGCS curriculum committees as needed
  • Other duties, responsibilities or activities may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • Active, national board certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
  • Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
