JOB SUMMARY

The Masters of Clinical Counseling is seeking candidates for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities begin mid-August. Academic rank will be based on degrees and experience. The compensation level depends upon the education and experience of the appointee. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified applicants should have an advanced degree in psychology or a closely related field.  Since this is a program that meets academic requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and/or a Licensed Professional Counselor, the applicant should be licensed and have experience practicing psychology occupationally.

 

• Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. preferred; MA/MS accepted with evidence of specialized experience.

• Experience in professional organizations related to psychology.

• Experience in supervising MFT/PCC practicum students.

• Commitment to teach excellence required.  A minimum of one-year teaching experience in higher education preferred.

• Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.

• A thorough commitment to the religious and educational goals of the university.

• Ability to learn the Canvas online system for student grading.

• Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators, and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner.
