Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Sport Programs is a full-time staff employee under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Sport Programs. This person will assist in managing a comprehensive intramural sports program to include: leagues, tournaments, Unified and inclusive sports, special events and extramural events in multiple campus locations for University of Wisconsin-Madison students. Additionally, this person will assist in managing a comprehensive sport club program to include: serving as a liaison to clubs, providing leadership and mentoring sport club council members, club officers and club members, conducting trainings, facility scheduling, finance and budget planning. The individual works directly with professional and student staff to plan and coordinate activities and independently assess problems and develop solutions.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in recreation, sports administration, higher education, or combination of education and experience from which skills can be acquired.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a recreational sports setting preferred. Demonstrated customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
