Health & Wellness Project Coordinator

Job Type:Project (Fixed Term)

Job Description:

Coordinates KCU students to volunteer at community vaccine clinics and accompanying focus groups providing administrative support. Serve as the liaison between KCU and our community partners.

Job Responsibilities:
• Actively work to recruit and onboard student volunteers from varying pools and resources based on availability
• Create, manage and track student volunteer roster
• Work with the College of Medicine to identify supervising physicians as needed
• Serve as point of contact for all volunteer requests from community partners and identify bandwidth and volunteer availability for partnerships
• Solicit businesses, organizations, and schools to participate in focus groups
• Manage data entry and analysis; report project outcomes to funding source

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Five years of administrative experience in coordinating multiple people and projects
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative in being proactive, anticipating needs and implementing effective action plans
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• Exercise good judgment and discretion at all times
• Ability to be flexible, and able to shift priorities as demands change
• High level of proficiency with PC based software programs, including Microsoft Office Excel
• Experience in higher education preferred
