Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university and one to three years of professional development and/or fundraising experience. Related fields in public relations, marketing, or communications are also acceptable.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to be proactive with self-motivation to start and complete tasks on deadline;
  • High levels of accuracy and ability to manage multiple tasks successfully;
  • Capability to develop and maintain effective relationships by listening, understanding, and responding to client/customer needs;
  • High levels of professionalism and confidentiality; and
  • Ability to respond to challenges and problem solve.
License/Certification Required Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Director for Athletics Development is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of events and operations for donors on Football and Basketball game days (i.e. Yosef Club Members, club seat patrons, suite guests, etc.). This position is also responsible for supporting the athletic development staff members in the growth and development of the Mountaineers Athletic Fund.
