Position:                The Department of Educational Psychology invites applications for a one-year appointment as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to begin Fall, 2021. The position is for an applicant with broad expertise in human development and family science (HDFS).  This is a non-tenure track, one-year appointment. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and background.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of the department in HDFS through teaching and service. Instructional roles may include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses.  Traditional, online, and teaching at satellite sites may be required.

 

Qualifications:      Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science, Developmental Psychology, Family Science, or closely related field, with broad expertise and ability to teach across the HDFS area.  Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate in one of the above areas or closely related field.  ABD candidates will be considered as long as the doctorate is successfully defended prior to the start date.  Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of quality teaching and academic service experience. We particularly welcome applications from individuals who have experience working with diverse populations.
