Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is now hiring a Case Manager & Outreach Coordinator to focus, support, and manage the intake process for the Dean of Students Office, which includes management of front desk operations, initial review and assessment of student of concern cases, administrative support to the CARE/BIT process, and administrative support for student systems. The Case Manager & Outreach Coordinator will also develop and manage relationships with both internal and external constituents to provide care solutions to students of concern. The Case Manager & Outreach Coordinator will manage Dean of Student outreach efforts, raise awareness of appropriate resources and trainings.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage the front desk, including the Receptionist and the Student Assistants
  • Coordinate student of concern cases and initial assessments, actions, and responses
  • Meet with students of concern to help them identify appropriate resources and next steps
  • Conduct outreach and training to students, faculty, and staff
  • Develop strong proficiency for Maxient Conduct System
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of work related experience working with and coordinating resources in support of constituents
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and students
  • Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment and often with crisis situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills ​


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Student affairs and/or higher education experience
  • Knowledge of a Student Affairs or Dean of Students environment
  • Behavioral intervention or human services/case management experience ​
