The Nephrology Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has an opening for our expanding clinical programs at our Downtown and Midtown locations. In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research.

Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher on a clinical educator pathway, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Qualifications :

Successful candidates must have received their MD degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent), be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and eligible to obtain an independent medical license in the State of Maryland. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs.
