Position Summary:

The Administrative Specialist is responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of the Title X Training and Technical Support Program goals.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

BA or BS degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a setting requiring organizational skills, planning, prioritization, time management, and follow-up

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Family Planning/Reproductive Health programs
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of northern & western regions of Wisconsin
- Experience with scheduling software
- Knowledge of continuing nursing education credentialing process

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with internal and external partners
- Attention to detail

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

Additional Information:

This is a terminal position lasting one year. There is a possibility it may be extended, or made renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment.
