Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York is seeking to fill one or two Clinical Assistant Professor positions, effective August 2021. This is a 10-month (academic year) non-tenure track, full-time faculty position with an initial three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. Faculty positions provide excellent benefits and competitive salaries.

Applicants should have a PhD in mathematics or a related field and a strong commitment to teaching. The normal teaching load will be 4 courses per semester or equivalent.

Candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a description of their teaching experience, and arrange to have at least three reference letters which support the applicant’s effectiveness as a teacher.
