Position Summary

The Physics Department at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, invites applications for a non-tenure-track Lecturer position. This position is a 10-month (academic year) full-time, non-tenure-track position with an initial 3-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching four sections of introductory lab classes and assisting in preparation and administration of the introductory lab courses or equivalent in terms of time commitment, which may include support related to instruction/education.

Minimum Qualifications

M.S. in Physics or related field in hand by the time of appointment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

University-level teaching experience (including as graduate student) is preferred.
