Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates for this position must have a master’s degree in College Student Development/Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of related experience .
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent written communications skills as displayed in the application materials.
License/Certification Required Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaison with University Housing to coordinate the care of on-campus students.
  • Serve both on and off-campus students in distress who are navigating challenges with health, safety, wellness, conduct, academic, or their general welfare..
  • The first point of contact for general student concerns .
  • Serve on the Dean of Students on-call rotation.
  • Work with students navigating interpersonal violence concerns including support for complainant and respondents.
  • Manage student concerns through a variety of non-clinical interventions, referrals, and follow-up services in collaboration with other University departments or individuals, community agencies, parents or guardians, and stakeholders in the students’ success.
  • Maintain a direct working relationship with other key stakeholders at the University and with community partners.
  • Serve as a member of University committees related to the mission of the Office of the Dean of Students.
Suggested Salary Range $55,000 Physical Demands of Position
