The Faculty Director of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) will facilitate the implementation and ongoing assessment of this 5-year plan that seeks to improve student learning outcomes and student job readiness relevant to 21st century workforce needs. The director will oversee the QEP co-chairs to launch a series of micro-credentials in Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Emotional Intelligence. The director also will compile data and write reports on the outcomes of this initiative that demonstrate compliance with standards set forth by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).


This is a full-time, twelve-month, multi-year, non-tenure earning appointment (initial appointment of five years) and is renewable upon mutual consent. 


  • Master's degree required. Must meet the qualification for teaching in a discipline at the undergraduate level.
  • Doctorate or terminal degree in discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience preferred.
