The Department of Biblical and Religious Studies invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor and Director of the Accelerated Ministry Preparation Program beginning July 1, 2021. This program is designed to fast-track students into pastoral ministry in a 3+2 or 4+1 (BA/MDiv or BA/MA) program run in conjunction with Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

 

The successful candidate will teach 1 or 2 courses a semester in the college’s humanities program and/or courses in an area of expertise, as well as direct a new program to recruit and mentor students interested in pursuing a vocation in pastoral ministry. Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. degree in biblical studies or theology, a record of academic scholarship and excellence in the classroom, pastoral and administrative experience, and a commitment to teaching highly motivated students at a Christian liberal arts institution.
