Job Summary
The Assistant Professor, Health Resource Center, Nursing will demonstrate and teach psychomotor and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrate and coordinate student practice of skills in a classroom or lab setting; participate in open lab time for student practice and evaluation; plan lab days for all students, ensuring congruence with curricular needs; develop and revise proficiency check-off sheets for identified skills; evaluate students' skill proficiency; conduct HRC referrals/remediation; maintain confidential performance evaluation with communication to clinical faculty; coordinate schedule of adjunct instructors; purchase supplies as needed for HRC and HSC.
Required Qualifications
MSN or enrolled in MSN program with completion within one year of hire
Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years
Licensed in Kansas as an RN or Nurse Licensure Compact
Excellent communication
Knowledge of nursing skills
