Open Until Filled
Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and
refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or
as assigned by the supervisor. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract
carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the
supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other
general maintenance. Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms,
classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains.
Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster. Set-up/strike
conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other areas, as
assigned. Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds,
light fixtures, and vents. Replace light bulbs, as needed. Dust
furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as
Snow removal, as required. Report to the Physical Plant by job
request anything that needs repairing or replacing. Perform
additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising
personnel. Assist or relieve relief custodian, as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous custodial experience preferred.
Previous set up experience preferred.

Other Special Qualifications
May be required to be fit tested for respirators, which requires a
Safety and Specialty Certifications within one year of employment,
to include: personal protective equipment, blood born pathogens,
hazardous materials, hazardous communications, wall and upholstery
cleaning, hard floor surfacing, gym floors, asbestos awareness,
lock-out/tag-out, carpet care, etc.
