Job Description
The Career Services Office at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach Campus is currently accepting applications for a Career Advisor.
Responsible for providing career planning and career development services and resources for full-time, and cooperative education/internship position assistance services to designated students and alumni of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach Campus. Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships between employers, students, and university staff/faculty related to career development, cooperative education/internship programs, and full-time positions. Actively solicit employment opportunities (full-time and co-op/internship) and arrange interviews between employers and students. Work collaboratively with team members to support employer recruiting events, student programming, and other career-related initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Understanding of career development as it relates to college students
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and CRM or Career Services Management Systems (e.g. Handshake or similar system)
- Attention to detail
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information to various audiences of all sizes
- Must be able to interact tactfully and professionally with all constituents
- Must be able to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and operate in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the aviation/aerospace industry a plus
- Previous Career Services or University Relations/College Recruiting experience preferred
