In response to a changing business world, the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business launched a strategic plan to harness and build on strengths, ensure continued innovation and impact, and boldly ignite a collaborative energy among students, faculty, staff, alumni and the business community in Richmond and beyond.
The Business Essentials Unit in the School of Business is recruiting applicants for the position of Adjunct Instructor for BUSN 205: Introduction to the World of Business (Global). This course is 3-credit hours, hybrid in-person/online. It satisfies the Global Perspectives component of VCU’s general education curriculum and students from all majors take it.
As an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business, you will help support the new School of Business strategic plan that focuses on creativity in the curriculum. “Drive the future of Business through the power of creativity.”
-Master’s degree in Business.
International business experience.
-Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
-Strong written and oral communication skills. Superior presentation visual and oral communication skills.
-Experience in International Business.
-PhD or Master’s degree in International Business.
-Demonstrated excellence teaching higher education courses.
-Experience teaching in-person and online.
-Established network of professionals in international business to serve as guest speakers.
