The Department of Romance Studies seeks a Full-Time Lecturer in Spanish to teach six language courses per year beginning 2021-2022. This position requires proven, effective teaching skills, at least an MA, and native or near-native competency in Spanish.

 

This position, which is benefits-eligible and which has the potential for renewal, will have an initial appointment of up to three years. MA required in language, literature, culture, and/or foreign language education. The ideal candidate is able to contribute actively to curriculum development based on current theories and methodologies in Second Language Acquisition. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of and expertise in proficiency-based and/or content-based assessment and instruction.
