The Strome Entrepreneurial Center is seeking candidates for the
Program Manager (full-time, 12 month) position. This position will
assume primary responsibility for providing the day-to-day
preparation for, and management of, Strome Entrepreneurial Center
(SEC) events and activities. Other duties include: responsible for
the design, development, marketing and execution of SEC events and
activities; leading the professional and student support staff at
the SEC to ensure that all events and programs are carried out in
accordance with the standards set by the Executive Director;
support the Executive Director as a "connector’’ between the SEC
and the entrepreneurial community by establishing connections and
growing the network of support for the SEC and its affiliates
through event marketing and outside engagement.
Required Education: Master’s degree in business,
entrepreneurship, or professional discipline from an accredited
institution.
Required Qualifications: Considerable related
management, entrepreneurial, or marketing experience in client
service centered programs or organizations. Ability to work
collaboratively and effectively with students, faculty, and outside
affiliates. Knowledge of small business practices and trends.
Ability to plan, implement, and assess new programs and
initiatives. Networking ability and marketing skills. Computer
proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and Google cloud
based applications. Knowledge of budgeting processes and planning
skills.
