Counselor Temporary Faculty Positions
The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple full-time, temporary faculty counselor positions at the Instructor/Assistant Professor level for the 2021-2022 academic year. Required: A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field and appropriate licensure. Preferred: doctoral degree. Previous experience providing clinical services to college students in a university counseling center setting is also required. The position requires a counseling generalist with excellent interpersonal skills who will provide time-limited individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, outreach, consultation, referral, and supervision of practicum students in a team-oriented setting. Expertise or special skills in working with on of the following populations is highly desired: individuals with multiple marginalized identities, individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, military-affiliated/veteran students, and LGBTQ-identified students. As faculty with primary duties outside of the classroom, counseling faculty are also expected to perform in the areas of scholarly growth and service. Successful interview and demonstration of ability are requisite qualifications.
