Job Summary

This position leads a team of developers constantly striving for quality solutions within budget and scope, and drives a culture of quality and personal accountability.

The Team Lead has a strong development background and understanding of large-scale full-stack platform development; is an advocate of Agile engineering practices with a track record of keeping highly skilled developers motivated while maintaining coding best practices; and balances tactical and strategic considerations accounting for people, process and technological requirements, as well as identifying platform opportunities and constraints to provide solutions to application need.

Essential Functions

  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment and in particular, have the ability to lead, develop and oversee high-performing and successful team members.
  • Manage approved projects, defining and managing scope, stakeholders, resource requirements, and timelines. Manage people and tasks to ensure goals and objectives are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate regularly regarding project status, resource and training needs.
  • Develop prototypes and architectures for new concepts and technologies.
  • Perform implementations and support for high and low level environments while assisting with module security planning and management.
  • Advocate and enhance an Agile and Devops culture
  • Lead the support and enhancement of a DevOps environment.
  • Ability to rapidly re-prioritize and handle shifting demands while demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentation), with the ability to easily and effectively interact and negotiate with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations.
  • Escalate issues as required to remove impediments and unblock open issues.
  • Creative and abstract thinking skills to envision and design innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges. Perform business analysis / requirements analysis.
  • Create conceptual data models for database interaction.
  • Participate in architectural and strategic planning
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading and mentoring a technical team, with a focus on a very high-quality output.
  • Senior Level Experience with .NET technologies.
  • 5-7 years of experience using ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, etc.
  • 5-7 years of experience developing SOA based Applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Requirement Analysis.
  • Experience in developing and consuming REST (WebAPI) and SOAP (WCF) based services.
  • Experience developing with C#.
  • Familiarity with CMS technologies such as Sitecore (preferred), Ectron, Umbraco, etc.
  • Previous Experience Developing Responsive and Mobile sites.
  • Previous Experience with Real-Time web-based communications (e.g. web sockets).
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications, Dependency injection, and IoC.
  • Experience with source control like GitHub.
  • Full life-cycle development in an enterprise development environment.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology a plus.
  • Development using relational database preferably using SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
