The Talent Acquisition team within Human Resources supports the University's efforts to attract, hire, and retain world-class faculty and staff. We provide guidance, consultative support, and transactional assistance, as well as create tools and resources for all stages of recruitment and hiring. What will you do as a Recruitment Consultant?
You'll support an assigned group of campus departments by offering expertise, tools, and resources regarding their unique recruiting and hiring needs. You'll advise your partner units on search planning, recruitment outreach, selection methodologies, hiring processes, and onboarding activities. Although we don't source or interview candidates for our assigned groups, you'll serve as an occasional resource to applicants, answering inquiries about employment at the University and application procedures.
You'll consult with a wide variety of internal customers, from department-based HR representatives and front-line managers to senior leaders. You will help department HR representatives ensure that searches are planned and conducted effectively and efficiently. You'll also maintain and clearly communicate procedures and practices, including best use of the MyTrack talent management system for job postings, candidate review, search documentation, and offers.
If you like project work, there's plenty of opportunity to build and implement. Current projects include revamping our model recruitment processes and tools, partnering on search advocacy, building awareness of and addressing implicit bias, and business process improvement. You'll be a subject matter expert, representing a center of excellence: designing, developing, and delivering training, and monitoring our policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable University policies, laws, and regulations.

Who are you? (Minimum Qualifications)
You have either a bachelor's degree plus two years of professional human resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and transferable experience equaling 4 years.

recruitment and compensation matters
- Experience in higher education
