Position Summary:

Wisconsin Public Media (WPM) is home to PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and is headquartered on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Reporting to the WPM Computer Services Manager, the IS Workstation Analyst works under general supervision and independently provides multidisciplinary information technology services to support routine to moderately complex IT functionality according to work unit or program's business goals and objectives.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

No degree required. Degree in IT is preferred

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Two or more years of desktop/applications support services experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Office 365/Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook.
- Be able to provide after-hours on-call support for Pledge Drives (approximately 10 evenings per year).
- Strong time-management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.

NOT REQUIRED BUT DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with Apple products and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory (Creating accounts, security groups, group policy and permissions).
- Knowledge of Qualys, Cisco AMP, Jira and WorkspaceONE.

Additional Information:

This position will start remotely with the expectation of moving back on site to UW Madison campus at some point.
