Position Summary:

Performs administrative support duties in support of unit program. May serve as the primary contact person or customer service representative and subject matter expert for physician's for health and wellness providers, services, or programs with a strong knowledge base supporting program, policies, and procedures. Provides administrative duties in support of unit program goals to providers, services or program by tracking, prioritizing, organizing and completing multiple ongoing clinical, research or academic projects in various stages of progress. Requires Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) knowledge or training.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum two years experience providing administrative support in an office setting is required.
Computer experience in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
Effective oral and written communication skills, independent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and an outgoing and energetic service-oriented approach required.

Training in, knowledge of, and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations is preferred.
Previous experience providing office administrative support in the UW System is preferred.
Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to think proactively and prioritize work is preferred. Ability to plan and carry out work without direct supervision is preferred.

Additional Information:

The pay rate listed is the minimum for the position. Pay rate will be determined at the time of hire based on candidate qualifications and experience.
