Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Associate Director of University Housing - Residence Halls Facilities, the Assistant Director of Residence Hall Facilities - Mechanical Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical maintenance program for University Housing residence halls and dining facilities. This position has program and supervision oversight for supervisors/managers and skilled/semi-skilled employees involved with residence hall and dining facility mechanical maintenance. In addition, this position assists with the planning, budgeting, and overall management of the University Housing Residence Hall Facilities operations.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- A minimum of 7 years of relevant mechanical maintenance and supervisory experience required, showing progressively increasing levels of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing, leading, supervising, and evaluating supervisory and frontline staff members
- Experience managing a fast-paced, large scale mechanical maintenance program
- Experience working in a residential or University mechanical maintenance environment
- Experience representing the interests of a mechanical maintenance program with various stakeholders, such as organizational, city, and state partners

License or Certificate:

Schedule: 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with 24 hour/day responsibility for Mechanical Maintenance. On-call Manager rotation as scheduled.
