Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Network for Research Support (WINRS) envisions a world where patient and community perspectives are integrated into all health science research and education as a means to health equity. To make this vision a reality, WINRS offers a variety of consultation services to help translational scientists incorporate diverse stakeholder voices into their research designs, study implementation and dissemination plans. Position responsibilities will include consulting with researchers on methodologies for patient and community engagement; advising on recruitment strategies; preparing reports to meet client needs; and presenting on stakeholder engagement. In addition, the individual in this position designs methodology, conducts data collection and analysis, and prepares reports for moderately complex client-based research. May co-author publications, present research, and guide the efforts of other research staff.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's degree required, PhD preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Strong communication and analytical skills, research experience, and facility with MS Office, data management, and financial reports. Experience with group facilitation and patient or community engagement is strongly preferred.
