Job Summary
The Digital Accessibility Office (DAO) encourages applications for an Accessibility Testing Coordinator to coordinate the accessibility testing processes of the CU Boulder Accessibility and Usability Lab (AUL). Working with native assistive technology users, this position will engage with various CU technologies to determine those technologies’ level of accessibility. Additionally, the coordinator will work with CU staff and faculty regarding any accessibility issues in their product/service and serve as a support to address those accessibility issues.

Who We Are
The goal of DAO is to improve the accessibility of the digital campus environment and increase opportunities for participation in the digital life of the university for individuals with disabilities by:
- Supporting faculty and staff delivering digital services and content.
- Supporting and evaluating compliance with university digital accessibility policies.
- Directly supporting specific users.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Accessibility Testing
- Collaborate with AUL Manager to determine testing priorities.
- Supervise accessibility testing, build test reports, and interpret test results when consulting with customers.
- Regularly check testing equipment to ensure software is up-to-date.
- Assist AUL Manager and customers in generating accessibility documentation for products and services.
Project Request Review
- Review procurement and OIT project requests to determine acceptance criteria.
What You Should Know
This position is a part-time, 50% appointment.
What We Can Offer
The salary range for this 50% appointment is $24,000 - $31,000 annually.

What We Require
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 years of experience with IT software and systems.
- 2 years of experience in the fields of accessibility, disability service, and/or assistive technology.
What You Will Need
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a variety of abilities, personalities, professions, and roles.
- Excellent writing and organizational skills.
What We Would Like You To Have
- Experience with project management.
- Familiarity with different forms of assistive technology.
