Position Title
Graduate Assistant- Women's Soccer
Job Description
The Graduate Assistant will provide support and assistance to the Head Coach for a NCAA Division II women’s soccer program. The GA receives full graduate school tuition covering a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester as well as a monthly stipend.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
•Aids the Women’s Soccer Head Coach with an athletic team
•Assists with daily coaching
•Plans practices/workouts
•Prepares and organizes games and meets
•Maintains and tracks equipment
•Assists with recruiting
•Assists with travel logistics for competitions away from campus
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and employment is contingent upon acceptance into MWSU Graduate School (2.75 GPA required for admission)
Enrolled at least half time (5 credit hours) each semester
•Dependable, Reliable
•Good Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Preferred Qualifications
•Knowledge of University rules and regulations
•Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
•Possess the requisite qualities for the profession
•Be able to handle a high workload in a demanding environment and be well organized
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and issues
•Able to work independently
Physical Demands
Light Work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Location: Campus athletic facilities and locations when travel is involved.
