The Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research ( ptr.pharmacy.ufl.edu ) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure-track). This is an exciting opportunity to join the PTR faculty at the Lake Nona campus of the College of Pharmacy, located in Orlando .

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to play an important role in all student-centered activities at the Lake Nona campus. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the didactic, skills laboratory, and experiential components of the PharmD program; advise students and student organizations; maintain a clinical practice/service; and conduct scholarly activity.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to excellence in teaching, patient care, and scholarship. The faculty member will maintain an active clinical practice/teaching site. Potential clinical practice opportunities include ambulatory care (with an innovative Telehealth model) or an inpatient acute care facility.

Minimum Required: Applicants should have a PharmD with post-graduate training (residency, fellowship, or equivalent experience). Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential. FDLE Criminal Background Check Required.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience, demonstrated scholarship, and experience in mentoring students.
