The School of Education is excited to invite candidates who will serve as a Center Assistant with the Child Development Center within the School of Education. The Center Assistant provides support to the Child Development Center by:
-Assisting lead and assistant teachers with classroom activities;
-Supervising children;
-Assisting in the office when needed;
-Assisting in the kitchen when needed;
-Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

-At least one year experience working in an early childhood center;
-Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as an employee at VCU .

Preferred Qualifications

-First Aid/ CPR Certification
- MAT Certification
