KCOM - Undergraduate Research Assistant

A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking three Undergraduate Research Assistants on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. The successful applicants will work half-time in an undergraduate student research position and contribute to ongoing studies in the field of Alzheimer's disease research. Primary work will include the processing of animal tissue for western blotting and/or immunohistochemical analysis. Other duties entail microscopy, data analysis, and data dissemination in the form of posters and/or oral presentations at local/national conferences. The workplace will be located on the Truman State University campus for two of the positions and on the A.T. Still University campus for the third position. This position is a 3-month NIH-funded position.

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of general lab work and of immunohistochemical methods
• Must have good fine motor skills
• Must be diligent
