Job Description:

The Department of Business and Computer Science at Curry College invites applications for part-time Associate Lecturers in the computer science area. Duties may include, but are not limited to, teaching courses at the 1000 to 3000 level in computer science topics such as Introduction to Computer Science, Networking Theory, Computer Programming, etc. for our traditional day undergraduate and our part-time evening undergraduate programs at both the Milton and Plymouth campuses.  

The review of applications will begin immediately to fill positions for the Fall 2021 semester.

 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. 
  • Must be able to successfully complete Canvas training. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A terminal degree with related work experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must be effective teachers willing to teach courses at any level.
  • Classes will be held in a traditional classroom setting, and experience teaching in a blended learning environment is also preferred. 

 

Additional Information:

At the College's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the College, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
