Summary

Academic General Pediatrics seeks a MD or DO to join its team of general pediatricians, complex care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse care coordinators, care coordination assistants and others providing primary care, consultations, and care. While primarily responsible for direct clinical care, this position would also involve research, advocacy, and education for families, health care professionals, and others.

The ideal candidate would have the ability to work well with parents and a multidisciplinary team is essential, as is a passion for working with children and youth with medical complexities and those in underserved communities. . An opportunity to take on a leadership role is available for the appropriate candidate.. Applicants seeking a full time position are preferred, but those seeking a part time position will be considered. Academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O., with preference given to an MPH, MPP, MPA, PhD or MBA
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities which include collaborative skills effective with all levels of constituents, a proven ability to lead and to manage through influence, as well as championing change when needed
