Assistant Professor/Program Director, A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology Online Program
Medaille College seeks a full-time, Assistant Professor to serve as the Program Director for Medaille College’s Associate in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology Online Degree Program. This is a twelve-month position. The Program Director will work year-round coordinating the fall, spring, and summer sessions by teaching in the program, supervising adjunct instructors, approving clinical sites for student lab and preceptorship placement, managing the accreditation process for the AVMA, mentoring students, and working with College Admissions to form relationships with potential students and clinical sites.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years as a practicing or faculty-appointed Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician, a minimum M.S. degree or AVMA recognized Board Certification, and must be licensed to practice in New York State.
