The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time director of institutional research and assessment. The Director will provide strategic vision, leadership, and research capability to advance institutional research and assessment requirements/projects. The Director is specifically responsible for collecting, developing, analyzing, and communicating institutional data to support and enhance: mandatory and voluntary reporting to accreditation, federal, state, and other relevant agencies; informed decision-making; problem-solving; strategic planning; policy development; and, institutional self-assessment. The Director needs to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts across the institution in the development of data and reports that can serve as a single source of truth for the University.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution in higher education, social research, data science, or a related field is required, master’s degree or higher in a research-related field is preferred. The candidate must possess a minimum of three years’ work experience in institutional research in a higher education setting with a combination of duties that include research design, collecting and analyzing data, report-writing, and managing high-level projects.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area travel may be expected. A valid US Drivers’ license with a safe driving record is required.

Established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God, General Counsel and the city of Findlay, the University of Findlay has nearly 80+ majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master’s degrees, a doctor of pharmacy, a doctor of physical therapy, a doctor of occupational therapy and an Ed.D.
