Job Details



Under the general supervision of the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the site Medical Director, the major duties of a Nurse Midwifery faculty member include, but are not limited to, antiparietal, intraparietal, and postpartal care of patients in the office and hospital settings, assuming on call responsibilities with triage of patient phone calls, and providing care for patients during labor and vaginal deliveries. Duties also include counseling, instruction and administration of birth control to women seeking help with family planning, basic gynecologic care in the clinical office setting and other duties as assigned by the chair.

Qualifications include graduate degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited midwifery nursing program, board certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), hold a valid NJ license, CDS and DEA.

This is a full time faculty position.
