Primary Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in computer networking related technologies, such as courses in networking, hardware, software, and security
  • Provide program support such as course development, curriculum changes, and vision
  • Conduct laboratories and maintain equipment and facilities associated with the courses taught
  • Advise students and provide service to the department, college, and university


Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or higher in a field related to networking. Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university
  • Ability to teach courses in computer network technologies, such as networking, hardware, software, and security
  • Demonstrated relevant industry and/or teaching experience, including instructor certifications in CISCO networking and/or Palo Alto
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the university community
  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
