Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow
in the School of Public Health (Ref: 503859), to commence as
soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of
renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in epidemiology,
biostatistics, bioinformatics, or related disciplines, with a
strong background in pharmacoepidemiology and artificial
intelligence. They should have a good command of written and spoken
English; good interpersonal, organizational and communication
skills; a strong sense of responsibility; the ability to acquire
new statistical techniques through self-learning; and a
demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers.
They should be able to multi-task and work independently, highly
motivated, and attentive to details. Experience in analysing big
data including omics data (e.g. genomics, proteomics, metabolomics)
with data visualisation using R and/or Stata will be a significant
The appointee will contribute to research projects on a
population-based cohort of older adults and studies of medication
for global healthy aging promotion. He/She will coordinate
projects, manage and analyse statistical data, write reports and
manuscripts, and perform other duties as assigned. This post will
provide an opportunity to gain excellent analytical experience in
