Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer (holding the title of Deputy Director of Field Instruction) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:504049) (to commence on July 1, 2021 or as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree with at least 10 years’ work experience in social welfare sector and be a registered social worker. Preferences will be given to those with higher academic qualifications, and supervisory/management level experience. The appointee will deputize the Director of Field Instruction in administration of the fieldwork programmes; he/she will be responsible for classroom as well as fieldwork teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
